It’s a great game with great people....

Today the Club has over 400 present and past members and can boast a number of local players who have achieved Olympic, International and County honours.
We now have the skills, experience and ambition to make High Wycombe a major centre for hockey and develop the local rising stars of tomorrow – maybe a 2012 Olympian!
Together with financial support from businesses and club members we will raise the profile of the Club and increase participation in this great game.

....but it takes money to make it happen

Whilst we carefully manage our finances to minimise the cost of playing hockey, especially to Colts and Junior players, we are constantly challenged in trying to provide more development opportunities, especially coaching, from limited funds primarily sourced from the playing membership. The use of excellent astroturf pitches at Cressex and Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre for all games and coaching sessions, places a high demand on Club finances which leave limited resources for future development – if we are to continue to improve facilities and raise standards at all levels, and keep the game affordable for all members, then increased and ongoing external sponsorship is essential.
